Business Services provides accounting oversight and manages payroll services for OVCAS departments. These operations ensure proper compliance with the university’s accounting and reporting standards and meet regulatory requirements.
Its accounting team helps develop, manage and reconcile departmental budgets and maintain records related to OVCAS capital assets. It also prepares financial reports to ensure proper management of state, institutional, self-supporting and agency funds.
The Business Services payroll team processes the unit’s biweekly and monthly time reporting transactions, payments and any needed adjustments for nearly 1,100 OVCAS employees.
